readme.1st
As I developed this on an HPFS partition those are the actual file names
as can be seen if you look at the .LONGNAME EA of the file in the
details view of the directory you decompressed this file into. If you
are not able to see the .LONGNAME EA then you used an Archive reader
which does not support Extended Attributes. You will still be able to
use thes files, but the file names will be truncated.
The file doip9601.faq is a text file. If you would like to view it in
WebExplorer, copy the file to doip9601.txt and drag the new file onto
the WebEx icon, or open viewer.
file_id.diz is the distribution notes indicating what the archive
contains and where I would like to see the file posted.
The two files that have long file names are DeScribe Files. You will
need a copy of DeScribe to view them. The one that ends "clean" is a
printable version of the document, and should print to 8 pages. The
"revision marked" file is one where I took the original FAQ from last
September and updated it. It contains almost all the original document,
with the parts that are removed from the latest version struck out, and
the parts that are new underlined. If you found an error in the original
that you updated me on, that change should be reflected in the current
version.
Please e-mail me with any problems that you see with the current
document. I will do my best to incorporate your recomendations. I would
like to see citations for confirmation. My e-mail address is
rusty@minn.net. The online version of the setup portion of this FAQ may
found at http://www1.minn.net/~rusty/doip.html and my home page is
http://www1.minn.net/~rusty/rusty.html
Thank you.
